Venue
The Menu Venue is a Point-Of-Order
system allowing your customers to place and customize their order
on their own, eliminating the customer-server interaction.
Creative Minds, Inc. worked with Gresham Smith and Partners of
Nashville on the Menu Venue for Vanderbilt University. GS&P
customized the Menu Venue with full-screen graphics to look like
an actual program running on a touch-panel monitor. Then Vanderbilt
set up an ordering kiosk in their restaurant.
Animated behaviors and sounds can be included and commanded at
any point in the ordering process.
Customers can order standard meal items, order standard meal items
with add-on toppings, or order a custom meal that they build themselves.
Additionally, your staff has extensive remote control over how
the program works:
- set hours of operation that the program will honor
- show a closed screen when you are closed
- force the program "closed" at any time
- allow/disallow foods, add-ons, custom ingredients, or the customization
feature entirely
- change the on-screen price
Plus, you have daily, weekly, and monthly reports at your disposal
to help track what is being ordered with the Menu Venue. This will
help you reorder when necessary and also track purchases to ensure
prices are appropriate.
